Annah Housworth was born in Virginia in 1993, but moved with her family to Costa Rica very soon thereafter. In Costa Rica her parents learned to speak Spanish and, by the time she was two years old, she was living in La Paz, Bolivia, where her parents helped build a camp in the jungle. When she was six, her father moved the family back to Virginia to work at Triple R Ranch, a summer camp and retreat center. Annah spent the rest of her growing up there in the swamps, woods, and fields surrounding the camp. By the time she graduated high school she had joined her brother's band, The Last Bison. She toured the country writing and playing music for the next 5 1/2 years with the band, which includes her husband, Amos, whom she married in 2014. Annah just recently stepped out of the band to be more involved in her church and community at home.
