Praises Await You

Praises Await You

"Some of the most potent and profound language on the planet is found within the scriptures. Praises Await You is a song that came straight from a few different passages in Psalms that I just couldn't get away from. The Psalms speak of praise awaiting to be brought to God. It's amazing to me that praise is much like a gift waiting to be given. The gift has no value to anyone if it's never given. One thing has been constant throughout all generations and all of time. God is deserving of praise - from all humanity and from all of creation. There is no one else in the earth who is like him, there is none who can compare. And yet part of his greatness being recognized in the earth is contingent on us - those that have been created - to actually bring the gift and declare out loud that all blessing and honor, glory and power, now and forevermore belong to God alone. To verbally repeat that God is great. Psalm 65:1 and Psalm 89:5,6,8 were hugely inspirational in the birth of this song." (Mark Alan Schoolmeesters)

Praises await you
God of the ages, we come
Yearning for you

There is none like you
There is none like you
There is none who can compare

Who in the earth is like the Lord
Blessing and honor are yours forevermore
Who in the earth compares to the Lord
Glory and power are yours forevermore
There is none like you
There is none like you
There is none like you
