All I Have

All I Have

"'All I Have' started as a melody idea I recorded on my phone. I was part of the worship leader team at Southeastern University, and we recorded a live worship project each year. One afternoon we were were hanging out in Chase's office, figuring out what song Gary was going to lead on the next album, his last, as he was graduating that semester. I pulled out my phone and showed everyone the tune I had stored, and we started throwing up lyric ideas on the white board. The most beautiful part of writing this song was the way the whole community kickstarted the process - making sure that our friend, one of the most gifted and humble guys, had a song to sing." (Sumner Curtis)
"Two writers of this song were personally struggling with anxiety and depression at the time of it's creation. "All I Have" is a song about total surrender in that moment. It's about giving God everything in the good times and the bad. An honest song about laying down our worry." (Chase Wagner)

In my worry, your Spirit calms my heart
When I’m hurting, Lord, I run into your arms
All my future, I give you all my days
And forever I live to bring you praise

All I have and all I am
I lay down at your feet
All my life now in your hands
In you, Lord, I’m complete
Jesus, savior, soon and coming king
Only you can satisfy

In my weakness, you cover me with grace
A strong tower, you are my hiding place
You are mighty, you fill me with your strength
Now forever I live to bring you praise

Though I walk through the darkest valley
I won’t fear cause I know you’re with me
You alone are worthy of all praise
Pressing on till I see your glory
Breaking free from the chains that hold me down
You alone are worthy of all praise
