Nowhere I Can Run

Nowhere I Can Run

"Like many others, I often wake up feeling the weight of the pressures of the day ahead. I wanted to write a song that I could sing as soon as my eyes open, as a reminder that the Lord’s love will never leave me, no matter what the day holds. My hope is that others will be able to sing this song as a declaration that the Lord is always with them. Always." (Taylor Breen)

I could rise on the wings of the dawn
I could dive to the deepest sea
Even there, I am found by your love
Even there, you will guide me

There’s nowhere I can run from your spirit
There’s nowhere I can flee from your presence
There’s nowhere I can hide from you, Jesus
You are always here, you are always here

In the sun or the shadows of night
Every moment, you guard my way
I am hemmed in before and behind
By a love that I can’t escape

Let me rise in the morning
My soul full of praise
Let me rise in the morning
And be with you always
