Courtney Orlando (FKA JR) is an Urban/Soul artist, songwriter and Grammy award-winning producer. His career highlights a Grammy win in 2013 for hiphop artist, Lecrae. Courtney is also an elder and worship leader, and serves on the board of elders at The Journey Church.

Born Courtney Peebles in St Louis, MO, he started writing and recording music at 17 and began a journey that would lead him to establishing some of the most beautiful relationships the music business had to offer, along with a chance to become one of St Louis' own trendsetters. 

You've seen and heard his work on media outlets such as BET, MTV, GMC, DayStar and more.  With multiple Grammy, Dove and Stellar award nominations as a songwriter, his mission is to give the world music that feeds the soul; not just music to dance to but music to live to, music that inspires, music that awakens, music that speaks.

Courtney Orlando is also the owner of So Hot Productions, the Grammy, Dove and Stellar award winning production company. With credits including Grammy award winning hiphop artist Lecrae, Kenny Latimore, Tef Poe, Thisl, Andy Mineo, Sho Barraka, NFL Network, Amazon Video and many others. His career highlights working with some of the industry’s best musicians, songwriters and artists.

He has traveled extensively in the US and Europe and recently released his new sinlge "Brother Song," a song that champions us to love unconditionally and be our brothers keeper, available on all digital outlets.
